In the hush of the morning, a tiger lifts her head toward the golden light, eyes half-closed in quiet appreciation. The world around it stirs, yet for this brief moment, time slows. The warmth of the sun kisses its fur, the cool air lingers, and the stillness settles like a fleeting embrace.
This painting is a reminder to pause, to breathe, and to cherish the small, beautiful moments that pass within seconds, ones we often overlook but are worth holding onto, even if just for a moment more all thanks to mother nature.
Why I Created This Painting
In a play world shaped by humans, we often forget that the most awe-inspiring moments are not crafted by us, but existed billions of years before us. This painting captures one of those moments: a tiger, pausing in the warmth of the morning sun, eyes lifted to the light, completely at peace.
It is a reminder that the world’s most beautiful moments unfold through the natural order of the world. The rising sun, the shifting breeze, the smell of rain — these moments exist beyond our control, outside the clockwork of humanity. However we are not the only ones living in it. Every road built, every forest cleared, and every species lost is a disruption to a natural rhythm that has existed far longer than we have.
Wildlife should not have to adapt to the ever-changing world we create. Shakespeare once wrote, “All the world’s a stage,” but we must leave nature and animals out of our play.
With Just a Moment More, I hope to encourage others to look beyond the structures we’ve built and appreciate the raw, unfiltered beauty of nature.
